Privacy Statment

  ATLA has a code of conduct that requires members to be signatories to the code that binds them to the manner in which they manufacture their products and conduct their business to ensure they do not damage the reputation of the association, members of the association or their products.

The code of practice requires members:
  • To support fellow members to ensure that all products made by members meet the Standards set by the Australian Thermo Laminating Association.
  • To back their products with, at a minimum, the Industry standard warranty and to honour that warranty at all times.
  • To participate in the association’s product testing programme.
  • To ensure that all members of their staff are familiar with and comply with the code of practice.
 

Code of Practice

 
  • ATLA members shall at all times use their best endeavours to ensure that they and their staff do not engage in any business practice or conduct which is likely to bring discredit upon the thermo laminating industry, it’s products or the Association.
  • Members shall ensure that they are familiar with, and comply with, any relevant government regulations, which may apply to the thermo laminating industry.
  • Members shall incorporate within their trading terms an appropriate level of product warranty, and shall honour those warranty terms at all times.
  • Members shall ensure that their operation observes the appropriate industry standards and procedures in the manufacturing of their product that will include adequate in house testing and record keeping in accordance with the association’s agreed programme.
  • Members shall voluntarily participate in the ATLA quality testing programme.
  • Members shall co-operate fully with ATLA in cases where a customer enquiry concerning their product has been referred to the Association.
  • Members are responsible for drawing to the attention of ATLA any relevant information, which may lead to the improvement of Standards and performance that may help to enhance the reputation of the industry.
  • Members shall ensure that all staff within their enterprise are familiar with, and will use their best endeavours to ensure they comply with this Code of Practice.
 

Code of Ethics

 

Members of the Association will:

  • Uphold the highest standards of business ethics, customer service and quality of workmanship.
  • Guarantee their products in accordance with Australian standards for quality and performance.
  • Publish and provide their current product warranty to their customers and the association.
  • Inform fellow members of faulty products for which all claims made have been substantiated.
  • Participate and co-operate in research undertakings on behalf of the Association and make the results available to other members.
